The Bellingham Farmer’s Market opens with the annual throwing of the cabbage this upcoming Saturday. Maybe we’ll get lucky, and the sun will put in an appearance for the occasion. We certainly could use it after our less than stellar March, topped off by one of the latest snows in my memory.

As always there’s something for everyone at the Market,whether you’re a grownup or a kid. Local products, buskers, food, balloon art, face-painting, old hippies, friends and neighbors.
