What: Bellingham is currently registered with the National Wildlife Federation as a community seeking to become certified as a “Wildlife Friendly Commuity.” There are several steps in this process: registration, involving others, certification, and the setting of annual goals. Currently, Bellingham is at the “involving others” step, and that’s what the Backyard Habitat and Native Flora Fair is all about.

This FREE event will include a native plant sale, guided walks, presentations on native plants and backyard habitat gardening, free backyard habitat garden tours (pick up maps at the Fair), and information booths and displays on bird houses, weeds and creating wildlife habitat. Everyone is welcome!
