Sunday’s car show, sponsored by the Antique Auto Restorer’s Club of Bellingham, featured some very impressive vehicles, heralding from hither and yon. This was the sort of thing that sends a vintage auto enthusiast into paroxysms of ecstasy.

The kayak leg of yesterday’s Ski To Sea race had kind of a serene, idyllic look to it, from my vantage point at Boulevard Park. In this case, however, a picture is not worth a thousand words; as the Bellingham Herald reports this morning, this year’s race was plagued by a host of problems.
