The U.S. Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team arrived at Boeing Field yesterday afternoon, and between now and Friday, will be taking to the air for three separate practice sessions over Lake Washington:

• Thursday, July 31: 9:45am -12:00pm & 1:15-2:30pm (Circle & Arrival Maneuvers to become familiar with the area.)

• Friday, August 1: 1:30-2:30 p.m. (Practice Show)

Here’s a clip of the Blue Angels from 2007 to get you Seafair aficianados stoked. I’ve chosen this admittedly amateur footage because I think it captures a lot of the “light, sound and color” of the Blue Angel’s Seafair performance, from the perspective of the audience, rather than a newscaster. And the guy who keeps yelling is kind of funny at points.
