- What: The Seattle Hempfest XVII, America’s largest “protestival.” The annual events mixes music, a marijuana law reform message and a focus on the application of industrial hemp to many of the earth’s industrial and energy needs. With more than 150,000 people expected to attend, it is America’s largest event of its kind. This year’s Hempfest features hundreds of booths and five stages of music and speakers, including the return of PBS travel host Rick Steves. Headlining the festival entertainment are Bone Thugs n’ Harmony.
